Built-Up Roofing (BUR) Membrane
Tar and gravel roofing is also known as built-up roofing. BUR is installed by alternating layers of tar or asphalt and industrial fabric to seal your roof. BURs are low-maintenance and incredibly waterproof because it contains no joints or seams. This is a fantastic choice for commercial roofing because it’s durable, reliable, and cost-effective.

Modified Bitumen Roofing
Bitumen is a common commercial roofing material. It’s made by infusing bitumen with reinforced roof fabrics. When it’s dry, the material is cut. We install it in layers—usually two layers—adhered to the roof deck. This type of roof is easy to maintain but usually requires at least annual cleaning. It’s cost-effective and lasts several years.
Thermoset (EPDM) Roof Membranes
Thermoset roofing, or EPDM, is a durable, synthetic rubber material that usually comes in either black or white and in a wide range of widths and thicknesses. Because it’s so durable it’s one of the most popular materials for commercial roofs today, and it can last 25-30 years.
PVC Roof Estimate
PVC roofing material is polyvinyl chloride. It’s a very lightweight solution that offers reliable protection. It’s resistant to UV light, most chemicals, high winds, high temperatures and fire. It’s a great choice for restaurants and food plants.
TPO Roofing
TPO is made from thermoplastic polyolefin and is a great option for commercial roofing because it’s resistant to chemicals, UV rays, heat, fire, and bacterial growth. It’s also self-extinguishing when the source of fire is removed!
Spray Polyurethane Foam
Spray polyurethane foam is a good choice for some commercial buildings, because it can help lower energy costs, has exceptional tensile strength, protects against the sun’s UV rays, and can last several decades.
Rolled Asphalt
Commercial and industrial buildings with low-slope roofs are ideal for asphalt rolled roofing. It’s the same materials used to make the residential asphalt shingles and one of the least-expensive roofing materials available. However, it doesn’t last as long as shingled roofs made of the same material, so expect it to only last about 10 to 15 years before it needs to be replaced.
