Generally, warranties cover roofing problems that originated due to a manufacturing or installation error. Wear and tear is only covered before a certain period of time outlined in the warranty. Damage from storms or weather aren’t covered by warranty but we usually help our clients make storm damage claims with their insurance. If your roof is leaking, the first thing you need to do is call New View Roofing to inspect it. We’ll send someone to your home or business to have a look at your roof, your attic and all your roofing materials. Your inspector will pinpoint the source of the leak.
From there, if your roof is covered by our warranties, we’ll determine the cause of the leak and if the cause is covered in your warranty. If it is covered in one of your warranties, we’ll either immediately work to resolve the problem or help you submit a warranty claim to the manufacturer. If it is determined that the leak was not caused by something covered in your warranty, we’ll discuss your options and help you submit an insurance claim. No matter the cause of the leak, you can rest assured we will work with you to find the most cost-effective solution as well as work quickly to reduce any water damage to your home.
Cracked, Curled, Broken or Missing Shingles
Shingles are designed to protect your roof from the elements. When they become cracked, curled, broken or missing, it leaves your roof exposed – and that can lead to leaks and other damage down the line.
